Water Tupelo Honey
Available now
Our water tupelo honey comes from the spring blossoms of water tupelo trees, which grow in the swamps and floodplains along North Carolina's Roanoke River.
Light amber in color, this is a very sweet, smooth, and mild honey, with a light, delicate flavor that is less rich than our sourwood honey. Water tupelo honey also tends to stay liquid longer than most other types, making it especially nice for drizzling over biscuits, toast, yogurt, pancakes, or fresh fruit, or for stirring into tea.
